Trinity Regatta

The Trinity Regatta, in the War Memorial Park, Islandbridge, will take place on Saturday 29th May 2010. DU Boat Club would like to extend an invitation to all sports fans and friends to attend for a day of high quality racing and picnics in the sun, potentially a great family day out. 

The regatta has been held annually since 1898 (except for a few years during World War 1). Events are held over an 1800m course and racing commences at 9:30am and finishes at 6pm. Clubs from all over Ireland will compete, including crews from Trinity and UCD, as well as local clubs Neptune, Commercial and Garda. 

A marquee is erected to include a café/bar which creates a great atmosphere for viewing a grand day of racing. A lunch will be held in the Boathouse and if you are interested in booking a place or a table, please contact John Mohan at 087 2481479
